Support the APPL Education & Scholarship Fund
APPL’s auction events support the APPL Education and Scholarship
Fund, which provides scholarships for staff and board members of
APPL member organizations to attend trainings throughout the year
and our annual convention. Donors receive acknowledgment in the
auction program and on bidding sheets. All donations are tax
deductible in accordance with applicable laws.
Showcase your public land site by working with your staff and
board members as well as agency, vendor, concessioner, and local
partners to package unique public land travel experiences! Be
creative – host a board meeting for another association at your
site, offer an educational program and include dinner with your
board and/or staff, ask partners, board members and local businesses
to participate by contributing items or services, and consider
providing shipping as part of your donation. Other popular items
that receive top bids include gift certificates, handmade crafts,
and jewelry. Bidders also like items that are compact, unbreakable,
and light weight for easy travel.
