Trade Show and Booth Services
Freeman is APPL’s official decorator for the 2007 APPL Trade
Show. Electricity, furniture, carpet, internet, phone lines,
shipping and other options are available at additional charges
through Freeman Convention Services. Please note that the Trade Show
hall has a concrete floor and carpeting is not included in your
booth package.
An information packet and order forms will be available in
Mid-January, 2007. It will be posted to the www.appl.org and will
also be e-mailed to all registered exhibitors from Freeman
Convention Services. You may reach Freeman Convention Services at

Trade Show Package, Events and Options
There are two basic Trade Show packages to choose from: Standard
and Tabletop. Upgrades for additional and/or corner spaces are
available for additional fees. Special demonstrations, additional
exhibitors, author or entertainer badges, attendee registration or
session tickets are also available at additional costs.
- Standard Exhibit Space Package includes: Up to 2
exhibitor registrations per booth space; 10’ by 10’ exhibit
space divided by pipe and drape; 1 6’ skirted table; 2 chairs; 1
wastebasket and 1 identification sign.
- Tabletop Exhibit Space Package includes: 1 exhibitor
registration per table; 1 6’ skirted table; 1 chair per
exhibitor registration; 1 wastebasket and 1 identification sign.
Note: Tabletops are reserved for one-person businesses, such as
designers, authors, photographers, and artists. For more

Each Exhibitor Registration includes:
- Posting of your company information and show specials to the
APPL Web site.
- Link from the APPL Web site to your organization’s Web site.
- Listing of your company, show specials, author signing,
demonstrations and applicable giveaways in the on-site
materials.
- Nametag for each exhibitor to gain admittance to Trade Show
Hall for set-up and show times.
- 2007 Convention Attendee and Trade Show Exhibitor Lists.
- Monday Exhibitor Sessions
Exhibitor Meeting - This informative meeting will provide
last minute details about the logistics of the Trade Show and
allow time for questions.
Getting to Know APPL: Organization, Buyers and Influencers
– This session is back by popular demand and is for those
interested in learning more about the nature of cooperating
associations, their mission goals, and the parameters within
which they operate as nonprofit partners of public lands
management agencies. This year’s session will also incorporate
information on who are the APPL buyers.
- Tuesday and Wednesday Meals
Two $10 certificates to be used Tuesday and Wednesday at the
Food and Beverage Concessions in the Trade Show Hall.

Continental Breakfast on Wednesday in the Trade Show Hall
Closing Banquet and Live Auction –You will have the opportunity
to bid and purchase trips, baskets and other goodies to support
the APPL Education and Scholarship Fund.
Optional Upgrades for additional fees include:
- Additional booth space packages
- Corner booth upgrades
- Additional exhibitor registration fees
- Daily guest registration fees and special product
demonstration opportunities during the Trade Show.
Optional Events and Activities
Sunday Night Opening Reception – Celebrate the beginning
of the convention with attendees at one of Sacramento’s favorite
sites, The California State Railroad Museum.
Monday Night Awards Ceremony and Dessert Reception – Join
the APPL Board as they announce and present awards to the Media and
Partnership Winners for their distinctive achievements.
Convention Sessions – For the first time, APPL is opening
general sessions and concurrent sessions to their exhibitors for an
additional fee. For a list of the sessions please see the agenda
online, which will be posted in November, 2006.
One-Day Educational Field Trips will be held on Sunday and
an overnight Educational Field Trip will be held on Thursday and
Friday. These trips are being developed and the information and
costs will be posted by September 25, 2006.

Promotional Discounts
- APPL Vendor Support Program (VSP) Discount –
Benefactors receive a 20% discount and Sponsors receive a 10%
discount off their booth purchase and upgrades (does not apply
to additional exhibitor or optional event fees). You will
receive the promotion code after you sign up for the VSP
Program. Online registration will open first to Benefactors then
to Sponsors, and then to the general public. For optimal booth

- 2006 Hotel Discount – A separate email has been sent
to each past exhibitor that will receive this discount with the
promotional information. For more information or questions, call

- 2007 Hyatt Discount – Make your reservation at the
Hyatt, prior to registering for the Trade Show in order to
receive an additional $20 discount on this year’s show. The
promotion code is the hotel confirmation number for at least one
of your exhibitors. Only one discount per organization. You must
have at least one registered exhibitor staying at the property
for a minimum of two nights. If reservation is cancelled,
organization will be billed for the difference, on-site.
- APPL Member Discount – APPL Full and Affiliate
Members receive a 20% discount. A separate email has been sent
to APPL members with this promotional code.

agenda are in the process of being planned and will be announced on
the Web site first! Be sure to provide proper e-mail addresses when
registering as confirmations and notifications of updates will be
