A draft set of review questions and considerations can be viewed in the Member’s Area . A dozen association members and agency staff expressed their interest in assisting with development of the process, and a task force is being formed. This initiative, started by the Department of the Interior in 2003, strives to build national support for volunteers to help protect and improve public lands.

Canyonlands Natural History Association’s street address has changed. They are now at 3015 S. Highway 191. The rest of their contact information remains the same.

The National Park Foundation has unveiled its new, user-friendly and content-rich Web site.

Sessions from the National Park Foundation Leadership Summit on Partnership and Philanthropy are now available online.

Senator Harry Reid of Nevada will accept the 2008 Bruce F. Vento Award from the National Park Trust .

Staffing News:

Sierra State Parks Foundation (SSPF) has a new Director. Marguerite Sprague now leads SSPF and can be reached at msprague@sierraspf.org.

Paul Balaguer has been chosen as Executive Director of the Mesa Verde Foundation. Paul can be reached at info@mesaverdefoundation.org. Gina Guy has been elected as Board Chair.
